Job Description

Role Objective:

A key objective of this position is to execute sales order planning, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and timely product availability across Joint Ventures (JVs) and Distributor markets. The role requires diligent forecasting, effective coordination with operations and logistics, and active participation in resolving demand-related issues to support overall business objectives.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory levels as per the defined X-factor for JV and distributor markets.
  • Execute 90/180 days advance sales order planning for JVs/distributors and coordinate all related supply activities.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely supply of goods.
  • Prepare, update, and circulate weekly inventory reports to the relevant teams.
  • Conduct non-moving stock analysis as per established norms and recommend corrective actions.
  • Identify and address demand-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate and communicate customer action plans with the supply planning team to ensure alignment.
  • Analyze historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and prepare accurate forecast data.
  • Develop and evaluate statistical forecast models and assess forecast accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the demand planning process.


Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Master’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related fields.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
