Job Description

Position Summary

The Quick Commerce Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with Quick Commerce platforms (Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BB, etc.), ensuring smooth PAN India fulfilment operations, inventory management, and sales optimization across multiple cities and dark stores.


This role requires strong coordination with internal operations teams, supply chain teams, and category managers to ensure product availability, efficient inventory turnover, and minimal stock imbalances across different regions. The individual will also drive technology integrations and operational efficiencies to streamline fulfilment processes.


The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with experience in Quick Commerce or managing Quick Commerce accounts. 


Key Responsibilities

1. Quick Commerce Account Management & Growth

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with Quick Commerce platforms at category and supply chain levels.
  • Work closely with Quick Commerce category managers to ensure appropriate SKU selection and visibility.
  • Align monthly and quarterly business plans with Quick Commerce partners to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve any service-level disruptions in coordination with internal teams.

2. City & Region-Wise Sales Tracking and Inventory Management

  • Monitor sell-through rates (end-consumer sales) at city and regional levels.
  • Maintain real-time inventory tracking across Quick Commerce fulfilment networks (dark stores, warehouses).
  • Ensure that inventory is neither overstocked nor understocked across different locations.
  • Work with internal planning teams to anticipate demand surges and proactively manage stock levels.

3. Fulfilment & Supply Chain Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless fulfilment of Quick Commerce orders.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the Quick Commerce supply chain to improve fill rates and lead times.
  • Work with Quick Commerce supply chain teams to optimize last-mile delivery and dark store replenishments.
  • Ensure On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance across Quick Commerce accounts.

4. Expansion & Replication Across Quick Commerce Network

  • Work closely with Quick Commerce category and supply chain teams to replicate successful product listings and promotions across multiple cities and dark stores.
  • Ensure uniform product availability across different Quick Commerce fulfilment centres.
  • Analyse and provide recommendations on geographical expansion opportunities.

5. Operational Efficiency & Technology Integration

  • Identify and implement technology-driven process improvements to enhance fulfilment efficiency.
  • Leverage API integrations, real-time dashboards, and automation tools to streamline inventory and order management.
  • Ensure that Quick Commerce partners have seamless access to stock availability, sales data, and replenishment alerts.

6. Sales & Performance Analytics

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sell-through rates, inventory turnover, stock health, and fulfilment accuracy.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize inventory planning and minimize wastage.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with Quick Commerce partners, presenting key sales trends and fulfilment performance.

7. Issue Resolution & Compliance

  • Identify and resolve listing issues, inventory discrepancies, and operational roadblocks impacting Quick Commerce performance.
  • Ensure compliance with partner-specific operational guidelines and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Address and troubleshoot supply chain and fulfilment-related challenges on a priority basis.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  1. Sell-Through Rate Optimization: Maintain a balanced inventory flow with a high sell-through rate per city/region.
  2. Inventory Availability & Stock Health: Ensure stock levels across Quick Commerce networks stay within optimum range (neither too high nor too low).
  3. On-Time In-Full (OTIF) Performance: Maintain an OTIF adherence rate of 98%+ for all Quick Commerce fulfilment.
  4. Fill Rate & Order Accuracy: Ensure a 98%+ fill rate across Quick Commerce partners.
  5. Expansion & Replication: Successfully replicate product availability and sales strategies across multiple dark stores and cities.
  6. Operational Efficiency & Technology Adoption: Drive process automation and technology integration initiatives to improve fulfilment efficiency.
  7. Business Growth: Achieve growth targets YoY in revenue from Quick Commerce accounts.
  8. Customer & Partner Satisfaction: Maintain a 90%+ satisfaction rating from Quick Commerce partners.


Required Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

Knowledge

  • Quick Commerce & E-commerce Operations: Understanding of Quick Commerce supply chain, fulfilment models, and operational challenges.
  • Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Expertise in sell-through tracking, stock level optimization, and demand prediction.
  • Supply Chain & Last-Mile Logistics: Knowledge of dark store operations, rapid fulfilment strategies, and inventory churn management.
  • Technology & Process Automation: Familiarity with API integrations, inventory tracking tools, and order management systems.
  • Data Analytics & Performance Metrics: Strong understanding of KPIs, stock health reports, and sales forecasting methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in Quick Commerce, e-commerce operations, category management, or key account management.
  • Industry Preference: Prior experience in Quick Commerce (Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, BB, etc.) or managing Quick Commerce accounts is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, BI dashboards, OMS, ERP, and inventory planning tools.
