The Assistant Manager – HR & Admin is responsible for managing day-to-day HR and administrative operations across the factory, processing units, and project sites. The role ensures efficient recruitment, onboarding, attendance, compliance, payroll coordination, and employee welfare aligned with company values and food industry standards.


  1. To plan and manage overall recruitment and onboarding activities.
  2. To manage the company's digital presence on sourcing platforms like LinkedIn, Naukri and social media platforms, and ensure a strong online employer brand.
  3. To maintain accurate manpower, attendance, leave, and shift records across sites.
  4. To ensure timely payroll inputs, including TA-DA, and coordinate salary disbursement with the finance team.
  5. To maintain statutory registers and ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, etc.).
  6. To manage employee welfare services (uniforms, ID cards, etc.).
  7. To handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and site discipline.
  8. To foster a collaborative and positive work culture by creating standards and implementing policies as and when needed.
  9. To coordinate training and development initiatives as required.
  10. To design and implement the structure for performance evaluation, appraisals, and employee feedback by implementing the KRAs & KPIs as designed by management.
  11. To support performance appraisal, promotions, transfers, and separation processes.
  12. To prepare and share HR MIS, headcount, attrition, and attendance reports.
  13. To administer HR budgets and monitor HR & Admin expenses, and share the MIS (Management Information System) of the same, and submit regular reports on the same to the management.
  14. To ensure that the company environment is clean, safe, and hygienic for work.
  15. To coordinate with vendors, contractors, auditors, and external agencies for HR needs.
  16. To support audits, inspections, and statutory filings with required documentation.
  17. To manage the records and purchases of office supplies and equipment, along with travel management and expense forms
  18. To act as the central HR contact for all units and resolve operational HR issues.
  19. To perform other HR & Admin duties assigned by management.
  20. To keep themselves updated with the latest tools, technology, and concepts of the HR field.
  21. To maintain data security and confidentiality, and live by the HR Policy.
  22. To provide reports to the Management on a timely basis.


Your Qualification:


  1. Any Graduate/ BBA/ MBA - HR
  2. 5+ Years (HR Experience Preferred)
  3. Team management, Recruitment, Human Behavior, Data Management, Employee Handling, Payroll, Job portals, HR Software, HR Concepts
  4. Team management, Good communication Skills, Coordination Skills, Negotiation skills
  5. Motivation, Team Handling, Data Analysis, Decision-making, Leadership, Learning and Development
  6. As per industry standard
  7. Hindi, English, (Gujrati will be an added advantage)
  8. General Shift Timing
