Role Purpose

The Group HR Manager will be responsible for streamlining human resources operations across all business units under the Afaq Group umbrella. You will lead the transition from manual processes to automated systems, standardize operating procedures, and ensure that our talent acquisition strategy supports the high-service standards required in healthcare and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic System Implementation

  • Digital Transformation: Lead the selection and end-to-end implementation of HRMS, ERP, and Payroll systems to automate manual workflows.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure all employee records and group-wide data are accurately migrated and maintained within the new digital infrastructure.

2. Policy & SOP Development

  • Standardization: Create, implement, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all HR functions (onboarding, offboarding, grievance handling, etc.).
  • Compliance: Ensure all policies meet the specific legal and regulatory requirements of both the Healthcare (medical licensing/safety) and Hospitality (shift labor/service standards) sectors.

3. Operational Management & Work Allocation

  • Resource Planning: Oversee work allocation across departments to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Org Structure: Refine the organizational hierarchy to clarify reporting lines and eliminate role redundancies across the group.

4. Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Specialized Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles, from medical professionals and specialists to hospitality staff and management.
  • Retention Strategies: Develop employee engagement programs and competitive compensation structures to reduce turnover in high-churn industries.

5. Performance & Training

  • Appraisals: Implement a group-wide performance management system (KPIs/OKRs).
  • L&D: Identify training gaps, particularly regarding patient care standards in healthcare and guest experience in hospitality.

6. Payroll Management

·       Centralized Payroll: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all group entities, ensuring 100% accuracy and on-time disbursement.

·        Variable Compensation: Manage complex pay structures including shift allowances, weekend premiums (hospitality), on-call pay (healthcare), and performance bonuses.

·        Statutory Compliance: Ensure all deductions, taxes, social insurance, and labor law requirements are strictly met across the group.

·        Audit & Reporting: Conduct regular internal payroll audits and generate monthly labor cost reports for the finance department and executive leadership.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 5–10 years in HR, with at least 3 years in a Managerial or Group-level role.
  • Industry Background: Direct experience in Healthcare or Hospitality is highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proven track record of implementing ERP/HRM software.
  • Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA, or a related field.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to manage diverse teams and influence stakeholders at the executive level.
