As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. Your role is crucial in supporting a creative and collaborative work culture while ensuring HR compliance, talent development, and organizational effectiveness in a design studio environment.
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent in architecture,
interior design, and project management.
• Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and role specifications.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting jobs, screening candidates, conducting
interviews, and facilitating hiring decisions.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding process tailored to the needs of creative professionals.
2. Talent Management & Development
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
• Support performance management processes and assist with setting KPIs for design and
project delivery teams.
• Foster career development pathways aligned with creative roles and project-based work.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
• Act as a trusted advisor for employees and management on HR policies, conflict resolution,
and team dynamics.
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating studio culture.
• Organize employee engagement activities that align with the firm’s design ethos.
4. HR Operations & Compliance
• Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
(PF/ESIC/PT/Statutory Bonus etc.)
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the studio environment.
• Manage payroll inputs, leave tracking, and benefit administration in coordination with
finance.
5. Organizational Development
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic workforce planning.
• Drive initiatives around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
• Support the firm’s growth by aligning HR strategies with business goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR
certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 to 9 years of HR experience, ideally within creative industries (architecture,
design, advertising, etc.).
• Strong understanding of HR laws and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and ability to work with creative personalities.
• Proficiency in HR software/tools and MS Office
