Role and Responsibilities Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that align with business goals Independently managing complex ER matters, conducting workplace investigations, resolving employee grievances and supporting the parties to resolve issues themselves Providing quality ER advice relating to employee issues, employment, policy, Health, Safety & Wellbeing Up to date knowledge on India employment law and labor legislation and regulation and providing proactive and strategic advice to relevant stakeholders Collaborating with legal teams in the preparation for and participation in labor relations matters Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Works closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, trust and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Initiating employee engagement activities and seeking feedback for improvements Identifies training needs for business units and work in collaboration with L&D leader. Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualification and certification Bachelors degree required. MBA HR Preferred from premier school Experience and Knowledge Minimum of 15 years of total experience of which 5-8 years of ER experience Working knowledge of human resource disciplines For eg: employee relations, diversity, performance management Extensive experience in a specialist employee relations role or employment legal role, demonstrating a deep understanding of employment laws, regulation and policy Mandatory skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.
