Prepare and operate heart-lung machines, oxygenator, and related equipment during cardiac surgeries. Monitor and control circulatory and metabolic parameters , including oxygenation, carbon dioxide removal, and acid–base balance. Select and prepare appropriate fluids and medication for the perfusion process . Handle perfusion techniques for a range of procedures , including coronary artery bypass grafts, valve repairs, and transplant surgeries. Monitor patient’s vital signs and respond promptly to abnormalities. Provide perfusion services during emergencies or shock cases if required. Perform proper maintenance and calibration of perfusion equipment . Prepare reports and documents related to the procedure for patient’s medical records.
