Job Title: HR Operations Specialist
Location: Delhi / Mumbai
Employment Type: full-time
The job
The HR Operations Specialist will be responsible for highly detail-oriented and technically skilled HR Operations to support the local HR partner. You’ll work directly with the India & MEA HR leader to manage core workflows across the entire employee life-cycle processes (on-boarding, off-boarding, payroll, vendor management, HRIS, analytics, compliance reporting etc.)

Key responsibilities
  • HR Operations Support - Assist in daily HR functions and provide hands-on support for HR-related topics from hire to retire through WORKDAY HRIS
  • Global HRIS Support – Provide HRIS related operational support and guidance to local and global stakeholders for employee life-cycle processes.
  • Employee Records Management - Compile, update, and maintain accurate employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • HR Policies and Procedures - Assist in reviewing, designing, communicating and implementing HR policies that align with organizational goals and ensure consistency across the organization.
  • HR Documentation – Prepare various internal HR documentation related to employee life-cycle management
  • HR Audit – Support the HR leader by audit participation and execution on the major and minor findings as required.
  • Reporting and Analysis - Prepare and maintain detailed reports on personnel activities and track key HR metrics such as hiring, attrition, turnover, retention, performance indicators and more as and when required internally.
  • Payroll Support - Assist in payroll processing and work with finance to ensure accuracy.
  • Compliance and Legal Support - Ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Global Stakeholder Management – Regular touch points with local and global stakeholders for providing various HR support and guidance as needed.
  • Business Travel – May require travelling to other ETAP offices locally as needed.
Essential requirements
  • HR Systems and Technology Proficiency: Expertise in HR software, including HRIS, payroll, and performance management tools. Experience in Workday is a must.
  • Attention to Detail: Managing sensitive data, legal compliance, and employee benefits with precision. Proactive, organized, and accountable with sensitive data.
  • Compliance and Legal Knowledge: Ensuring adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies for legal compliance.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Highly proficient and excellent communication skills for resolving employee concerns and clarifying HR policies.
Desired skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, master’s in business administration,
  • Experience: 6-9 years of experience in HR operations, payroll management, compliance, and HRIS.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, payroll systems, HR technology, and basic excel.
