Job Description

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Director / CEO / General Manager

Job Purpose:

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and HR policy implementation. The role ensures alignment between employees and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Staffing:
  • Plan and manage the full recruitment cycle.
  • Conduct interviews and finalize selection with department heads.
  • Manage onboarding, induction, and orientation of new employees.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Foster a positive work environment.
  • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions.
  • Maintain high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Performance Management:
  • Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in setting KPIs and reviewing employee performance.
  • Recommend promotions, transfers, or PIP (Performance Improvement Plans).
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training needs through appraisal and feedback.
  • Organize in-house and external training programs.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement.
  • Manage attendance, leave, and incentive systems.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory benefits (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
  • Policy & Compliance:
  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain HR documentation and employee records.
  • HR Analytics & Reporting:
  • Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports.
  • Analyze data on attrition, headcount, and manpower planning.
  • Culture & Engagement:
  • Promote company culture through events, recognition programs, and communication.
  • Drive initiatives to boost morale and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
  • 7–15 years of HR experience (depending on organization size).
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
