Role OverviewThe HR Manager will play a critical role in driving organizational culture, talent management, and HR systems across the franchise chain. This role ensures smooth people operations both at corporate and franchise levels, including recruitment, compliance, training, performance management, and employee engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Onboarding
Develop recruitment strategies for hiring across franchise outlets and corporate teams.
Manage end-to-end recruitment (job postings, interviews, offers, onboarding).
Build a strong talent pipeline for rapid expansion states.
Training & Development
Design and implement training modules for restaurant staff, franchise partners, and managers.
Standardize training on customer service, food safety, hygiene, and brand SOPs.
Conduct leadership and skill development programs for team growth.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Establish employee communication channels and grievance redressal systems.
Develop engagement activities to foster loyalty and reduce attrition.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-driven culture.
Performance Management
Implement KPIs and appraisal systems across outlets and support teams.
Guide managers in goal setting, feedback, and employee growth planning.
Compliance & HR Policies
Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF/ESI, payroll regulations, and statutory filings.
Draft and update HR policies, SOPs, and franchise HR manuals.
Oversee disciplinary procedures, workplace ethics, and legal compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
Design salary structures, incentive programs, and retention benefits.
Coordinate payroll accuracy and timely disbursement.
Benchmark compensation with industry standards.
Strategic HR Planning
Partner with leadership for workforce planning and expansion needs.
Align HR strategy with franchise growth roadmap.
Support HR tech implementation for digital HR processes.
Qualifications & SkillsMBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
5–8 years of HR experience (preferably in hospitality, F&B, or retail franchise).
Strong knowledge of HR laws, payroll systems, and HRMS tools.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multi-location teams and franchise-level HR operations.
