About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment and compliance and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function. This role involves managing a small HR team, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and driving the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership:

  Lead and manage a team of 2 HR professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the effective operation of the HR department. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting professional development and continuous learning.

• Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

  Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for various roles within the company. Conduct interviews, coordinate with department heads, and make recommendations for hiring decisions.

• Compliance and Legal Adherence:

  Ensure that all HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law changes and ensure company policies are updated accordingly. Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution, in compliance with legal requirements.

• HR Operations and Administration:

  Oversee HR administration tasks, including employee records management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and performance management. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company goals and values. Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for all employees.

• Employee Engagement and Development:

  Promote a positive workplace culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives and programs. Identify training and development needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for employees. Provide coaching and support to managers on HR-related matters, including performance management and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience in ensuring compliance.
• Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a successful track record of hiring top talent.

Preferred Skills

• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
• Experience managing a small HR team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
