We’re looking for a Finance Associate who’s equal parts detail-obsessed and big-picture savvy to help keep our numbers (and our sanity) in check. From tracking profits to wrangling payroll and making audits a breeze, you’ll be a key player in making sure our finances are solid as we grow. If you’re excited to jump into a fast-moving, startup-y environment and make sense of the chaos — we’d love to meet you. ✨ What you’ll be doing: Analyze Company Financials : Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements. Collaborate on budgeting and forecasting, and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. Revenue, Expenses, and Profit Tracking : Prepare monthly financial reports, analyzing revenue, expenses, and profit margins across regions. Conduct variance and profitability analysis to provide insights on cost-effectiveness by department or project. Risk Management : Identify and manage financial risks by implementing strategies to protect company assets, and organize necessary documentation for internal and external audits. Tax Compliance : Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and payments across all jurisdictions, collaborate with external accountants to remain compliant with tax laws, and prepare tax documentation for audit readiness. Managing External CA and Audito r: Collaborate with external Chartered Accountants and auditors to ensure compliance and provide necessary support and data for smooth financial audits. Cost Optimization : Evaluate operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities, collaborate with department heads on cost-effective solutions, and analyze major expenses to ensure a strong ROI. Client Billing : Prepare accurate client invoices, track payments, resolve billing issues, and ensure invoicing aligns with project milestones and agreements. Payroll Management : Calculate and process payroll in compliance with regulations in the US, Singapore, and India. Ensure adherence to tax laws, submit payroll for approval, maintain records, and work with HR to ensure accuracy for new hires, terminations, and benefits. Payment Processes : Manage and upload vendor payments for timely approval, maintain organized records of expenses with accurate reconciliation, and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. What we are looking for: You have 2-4 years of experience in finance preferably in a start up environment You must be able to analyze, read and interpret financial statements. Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles. Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and environments. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zohobooks, Xero, Bench, or similar) and Google suite. Proficiency in Payroll software (Zohopay, Razorpay, or similar) Strong analytical skills with the capability to deliver strategic insights. Holds a BBA or MBA in Finance, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Experience working under a Chartered Accountant (CA) is an advantage. Show more Show less
