Role Overview:

The Finance Manager will be a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, overseeing the

company’s financial health, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing financial performance. This role demands a seasoned professional adept at managing complex financial operations, driving cost efficiencies, negotiating with vendors, and leading a high performing finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

• Provide actionable insights to the leadership team to guide decision making and support long

term goals.

• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic initiatives.

Operational Finance Management:

• Oversee day to day financial activities, including cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, payroll,

and reconciliations.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits.

• Optimize working capital and manage treasury functions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure full compliance with all statutory regulations, tax laws, and corporate governance

standards.

• Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring business continuity.

Vendor and Stakeholder Relations:

• Lead vendor negotiations, securing favorable terms, and managing key relationships to

enhance cost efficiencies.

• Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.

Team Development and Leadership:

• Build, mentor, and manage a high performing finance team.

• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development.

• Drive process improvements and technological advancements in financial operations.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational and Professional Background: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent qualification is mandatory. MBA in Finance or similar credentials (preferred).

• Minimum 7 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 3+ years in a

controller role or equivalent.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, financial modelling, and data visualization tools.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory

frameworks.
