Position Overview:

It is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager / Senior Manager – Accounts & Finance to lead the organization’s accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in MIS, budgeting, financial controls, statutory compliance, and cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role is best suited for candidates with substantial experience in MNCs, strong exposure to group reporting, and proven abilities in managing end-to-end accounts and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & MIS:

● Oversee timely preparation and review of weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports.

● Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts; provide commentary and business insights.

● Lead monthly closing activities and ensure accurate group reporting.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

● Prepare and manage the annual budget, working closely with cross-functional teams – Sales, HR, Logistics, Accounts, and Operations.

● Create financial projections, forecasts, and scenario-based analyses for business planning.

Accounting Operations:

● Lead end-to-end accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

● Supervise AP, AR, general ledger, fixed assets, and bank reconciliation activities.

● Manage working capital, including cash flow tracking, DSO, and credit control.

Audit & Compliance:

● Handle internal, statutory, and tax audits; ensure timely closure.

● Maintain financial statements, notes to accounts, and audit documentation.

● Ensure compliance with Direct & Indirect Taxation (TDS, GST, VAT, Income Tax).

Banking & Treasury

● Liaise with bankers for working capital management, loan facilities, and fund planning.

● Oversee treasury activities and ensure effective cash-flow management.

Leadership & Team Management:

● Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team, ensuring high performance and functional excellence.

● Work collaboratively with senior management to support strategic and operational decisions.

Systems & Process Improvements:

● Experience working on ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, IFS, JD Edwards.

● Participate in or lead system migration/automation initiatives.

● Implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls.

Requirements

● Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or related field;

● Proven 18+ years of expereince in Accounts & Finance with strong exposure in MNC environments.

● Extensive expertise in MIS, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and statutory compliance.

● Experience handling multi-country or group reporting is preferred. Skills & Competencies

● Proficient in SAP, IFS, Tally ERP, JD Edwards, MS Excel.

● Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

● Excellent coordination with auditors, banks, and internal teams.
