Role Overview

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Finance to lead the financial strategy, planning, and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial health, managing risks, and enabling growth across our core business verticals.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to the MD and leadership team.
  • Analyze business performance, unit economics, cost structures, and profitability.

Financial Operations

  • Supervise day-to-day finance operations including accounting, MIS, cash flow, and working capital management.
  • Ensure timely closure of books, monthly and annual financial statements, and audits.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations to maintain liquidity.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws, GST, Income Tax, ROC filings, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government departments.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks and improve internal controls.

Cost & Inventory Control (Manufacturing Focus)

  • Monitor and optimize raw material costs, transport, labor expenses, and overheads.
  • Work closely with plant operations to ensure cost efficiency and control wastage.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, material reconciliation, and production cost analysis.

Project Finance & Real Estate Accounting

  • Prepare financial feasibility, ROI, and cash flow models for real estate ventures.
  • Manage project-wise cost tracking and land-related financial documentation.
  • Handle investor reporting and support funding tie-ups as required.

Banking, Treasury & Fund Management

  • Manage banking relationships, loan documentation, and drawdowns.
  • Monitor working capital limits, interest payments, and ensure optimal fund utilization.
  • Prepare CMA data, renewal documentation, and compliance reports for credit facilities.

Team Leadership & Reporting

  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting—daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards.
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, production, and admin departments for smooth finance operations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • CA / MBA (Finance) / ICWA with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or real estate finance.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and project finance.
  • Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and financial systems (Tally, Excel, etc.)
  • Prior experience in AAC/cement/construction material industry is a plus.
