About the Role:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Finance Executive to own the financial backbone of our clean-label F&B startup. From managing accounting and payroll with statutory precision to setting up scalable finance systems, you’ll ensure smooth operations and compliance while providing clear insights that fuel our growth. This role is perfect for someone with a strong finance foundation, startup agility, and a passion for the clean nutrition movement.

What will you do?

• Manage accounting operations: AP/AR, bank and ledger reconciliations, payment runs, month-end closing, vendor TDS coordination.
• Prepare timely MIS reports, budgets vs actuals, cash flow updates, and audit schedules for statutory compliance.
• Track cost of goods sold, SKU-level margin analysis, inventory reconciliations, and channel settlements.
• Maintain GST/TDS working files, e-invoicing inputs, and ensure compliance with statutory tax requirements.
• Oversee payroll processing aligned with Indian statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS) and labor laws.
• Support cash management: daily cash flow tracking, collections, managing DSO/DPO, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in investment readiness: maintain KPI dashboards, prepare data room documents, and support due diligence processes.
• Implement and improve finance systems and processes for accuracy, scalability, and controls.

Stage-Wise Focus:

• Early stage:

  build lean accounting processes, track cash runway, set up baseline KPIs, vendor/payment hygiene, and prepare investor-ready financial packs.

• Growth stage:

  strengthen controllership, accelerate monthly close, perform cohort/LTV: CAC analyses, multi-channel accounting, board reporting, and maintain diligence-ready documentation.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in finance/accounting/FP&A roles, ideally with startup and F&B/CPG exposure. (Required)
• MBA Finance from a reputed institute/college or CA Inter (Level 1/2) with a strong understanding of Indian statutory and payroll compliances. (Required)
• Zoho Finance Suite: Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Invoice/Billing, Zoho Expense, Zoho Checkout, Zoho Payroll. (Required)
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query or equivalent). (Preferred)
• Familiarity with accounting platforms such as Tally, QuickBooks, or NetSuite. (Preferred)
• Experience with BI/analytics tools like Power BI or Zoho Analytics a plus. (Preferred)
