Role Overview

Finance & Admin Head


Key Responsibilities


1. Financial Management

  • Lead end-to-end finance operations including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, P&L, balance sheets, and cash-flow summaries.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, banking, cash handling, and reconciliations.
  • Establish strong internal controls, SOPs, and continuous process improvements.
  • Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and overall cost structure.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, payroll tax, and all statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, CA firms, and financial consultants.

2. Strategic Planning & Business Support

  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business expansion.
  • Lead budgeting and financial planning for new projects, store expansions, or product lines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Implement systems to improve financial visibility, cost control, and operational efficiency.

3. Administrative Leadership

  • Oversee general office administration, facilities management, procurement, and vendor coordination.
  • Ensure smooth execution of HR administrative tasks including attendance, payroll coordination, and employee records.
  • Supervise admin staff and maintain discipline, performance, and productivity.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and legal documentation while coordinating with legal advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory rules, and governance requirements.

4. Technology & System Management

  • Work with ERP/software vendors to streamline and automate finance processes.
  • Implement digital tools for billing, reporting, data tracking, and analytics.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum

    8+ years of experience

    in Finance, Accounting, or similar roles (admin exposure preferred).
  • Proven experience as

    Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or Finance Head

    .
  • Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Payroll processes, and Indian Accounting Standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting tools such as

    Tally, Zoho Books.

  • Strong analytical skills, leadership qualities, and decision-making ability.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA / CMA / MBA Finance or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience in

    retail, fashion, or FMCG

    industries.
  • Experience in setting up financial systems, SOPs, and scaling operations.
