How will you make an impact in this role?

As part of American Express’s Global Learning Operations and Servicing (GLOS) team, you’ll play a key role in enabling high-quality learning experiences for colleagues worldwide. This hybrid position combines data and reporting analysis with learning management and instructional design support to drive operational excellence, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement across our global learning ecosystem. You’ll help transform data into insights, streamline learning delivery processes, and enhance the impact of AMEX’s enterprise-wide leadership and professional development programs.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret learning data to identify performance trends, efficiencies, and actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate metrics and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Partner with business, technology, and vendor teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable learning management processes.
  • Execute end-to-end LMS administration, including consultation intake, course setup, content upload, testing, and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure LMS data integrity and compliance with content standards, SLAs, and operational policies.
  • Troubleshoot content and user issues; coordinate with technical teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop, design, and maintain engaging e-learning content using tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
  • Support communication and engagement through learner notifications, updates, and course logistics management.
  • Utilize analytics and learner feedback to continuously optimize learning delivery and effectiveness.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality execution of learning services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Data or Reporting Analyst, preferably in a Learning, HR, or Shared Services environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems, preferably Cornerstone OnDemand or Oracle Learning Cloud.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and communicate findings effectively through reports and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Learning Administration, Operations, or Servicing within a large enterprise.
  • Experience with instructional design tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and a solid understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Familiarity with LMS data structures, integrations, and platform performance metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with an agile mindset.
  • Experience supporting global, virtual teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Technical troubleshooting experience across platforms and systems.
