Job Description (National Role) Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer Salary Range: Rs. 30-35 lacs (includes annual performance bonus) Location of posting: Andheri East, Mumbai Professional Experience: 20-30 years Job Overview The Director - Admissions & Outreach plays a pivotal role, responsible for devising and executing a comprehensive strategy to optimise admissions and placements across all our campuses in India. This senior leadership position requires an individual with extensive experience in higher education admissions and placements, preferably within the design, fashion and/or gems and jewellery sector. The Director will be responsible for driving admissions from high school and undergraduate colleges, working in collaboration with the gems & jewellery industry to secure mandates for education and training assignments, establishing competitive advantage against other market players, execute innovative sales and marketing strategies, be responsible for meeting/exceeding the annual budgets for admission and placements, and establish strong industry relationships to ensure successful student placements. Key Responsibilities: 1. Achieve Annual Student Admission and Revenue Targets · • Develop and execute a results-driven admissions strategy to meet or exceed annual student intake goals across all campuses. · • Ensure consistent achievement of fee-based revenue targets from degree, diploma, and certification programs. · • Track lead-to-enrolment conversion rates, optimise the admissions pipeline, and close high-potential enrolments through structured follow-ups. 2. Lead Outreach in Existing & New Geographies · • Identify and tap into student markets in states and cities without IIGJ campuses using both on-ground and digital methods. · • Establish new feeder networks through regional visits, education fairs, and local partnership activations. · • Create sustainable outreach models tailored for Tier-2 and Tier-3 geographies. 3. Build High-Impact Stakeholder Networks · • Forge long-term partnerships with principals, faculty, career counsellors, and coaching centres to build student pipelines. · • Host networking meets, webinars, and familiarisation programs to deepen engagement with feeder institutions. · • Leverage relationships with trade and industry bodies for cross-promotional and scholarship-based outreach. 4. Lead Promotional & Brand Visibility Campaigns · • Conceptualise and implement outreach events such as open houses, orientation sessions, and career discovery workshops. · • Amplify IIGJ’s visibility through media tie-ups, student success stories, and promotional videos. · • Collaborate with the marketing team to design impactful messaging that resonates with the target student segments. 5. Integrate Digital Marketing with Admissions · • Drive online lead generation campaigns through Google, Meta, and third-party education platforms. · • Monitor performance metrics (CPA, CTR, conversion rate) and continuously refine digital strategies for better ROI. · • Align creative content and messaging with program value propositions to boost conversion from leads. 6. Build and Manage a High-Performing Admissions Team · • Recruit, train, and mentor a pan-India team of counsellors, field executives, and regional outreach managers. · • Implement goal-setting, performance reviews, and incentive plans to enhance productivity and morale. · • Promote a culture of ownership, responsiveness, and data-backed decision-making within the team. 7. Strengthen Admissions Process & CRM Systems · • Ensure a seamless, responsive, and student-centric admissions experience across all touchpoints. · • Manage CRM platforms for efficient tracking of leads, tasks, follow-ups, and conversion analytics. · • Maintain data integrity and reporting consistency across all campuses and teams. 8. Collaborate with Academics and Campus Teams · • Align outreach messaging with academic content, faculty expertise, and student success outcomes. · • Provide feedback to program heads on market trends, student preferences, and competitive positioning. · • Co-create marketing content based on academic USPs, industry collaborations, and alumni success. 9. Reporting, Forecasting & Board Communication · • Deliver timely and insight-rich reports on admissions, revenue, geography-wise performance, and lead sources. · • Forecast admissions trends using data analytics and recommend corrective actions or scaling strategies. · • Present quarterly reviews and strategic updates to the CEO and Governing Board with clear action plans. 10. Foster Strategic Campus Collaboration · • Work in close coordination with each campus Registrar, HOD – Admissions & Placements, and Outreach team to ensure unified execution of the national admissions strategy. · • Align campus-specific outreach activities, counselling efforts, and promotional initiatives with central targets and campaigns. · • Facilitate regular inter-campus coordination meetings to share insights, monitor progress, and maintain operational consistency.
