This position is for the Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) head office based in Bandra Kurla Complex. Role: Market research on the market dynamics, trends, risk factors, and their solutions in the gems and jewelry industry. As an intern working on market research for the gems and jewellery industry, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, competitive landscape, gap identification and market dynamics within this high-value sector. The project will involve collecting data from gems and jewellery industry companies and running through sample questions related to the GJEPC Initiative on CSR and employee benefit wellness program run by the gems and jewellery industry and sector companies and providing report and presentation with solutions, SWOT analysis. Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include Market Analysis (door-to-door campaign) Competitive Research Consumer Insights Data Interpretation Report Creation Presentation Skills And Knowledge Gained In-depth understanding of market research methodologies. Exposure to the dynamics of the indigenous gems and jewellery market. Insights into consumer behaviour and market segmentation. Experience working with industry data and generating actionable insights. Knowledge of key industry metrics and KPIs. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving gems and jewellery market, contributing to critical research in worker/employee wellbeing that helps businesses make informed decisions in a competitive market and further strengthen gems & jewelry industry.
