Operating in the global supply chain and logistics space that supports retail, FMCG and e-commerce distribution across India. The role sits in a high-velocity planning organization responsible for ensuring product availability, optimising working capital and driving S&OP excellence.

Demand PlannerRole & Responsibilities

Own demand forecasting for assigned product portfolios—blend statistical models with market, sales and promotional inputs to produce accurate, actionable forecasts.
Participate in the S&OP cycle: prepare forecast vs. actual analysis, present variance drivers, and align plans with commercial and supply teams.
Maintain and update forecasts in ERP/forecasting systems (SAP IBP / forecasting tools); ensure data integrity and master-data alignment.
Monitor inventory KPIs and recommend safety stock and replenishment adjustments to balance service levels and working capital.
Develop and deliver demand reports and dashboards using Excel and BI tools; automate recurring reporting to reduce cycle time.
Perform root-cause analysis on forecast errors and drive continuous improvement initiatives to raise forecast accuracy.
