Demand Planning Executive

As a Demand Planning Executive, your role involves supporting sales forecasting, inventory management, and product performance tracking by closely coordinating with buying, merchandising, and supply chain teams. Your responsibilities include: - Assisting in developing short and long term demand forecasts using historical sales data, promotional calendars, and market insights. - Monitoring and analyzing store-level and category-wise performance to inform assortment planning and stock allocation decisions. - Generating and maintaining demand performance reports to support sales and merchandising teams. - Collaborating with the supply chain team to align forecasts with business goals and inventory targets. - Identifying ageing or slow-moving products and supporting strategies for liquidation or promotional push-ups. - Tracking forecast accuracy, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions for continuous improvement. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include: - Strong analytical and numerical skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools. - Good communication and cross-functional coordination abilities. - Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. You should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field to qualify for this full-time, permanent position.
