Job Description

Role: Demand Planning Executive

Location: Mumbai

Department: Supply Chain / Planning

Role Overview

The Demand Planning Executive will be responsible for driving accurate demand forecasts by analysing historical sales data, understanding channel-level trends, and collaborating cross-functionally through the S&OP process.

Key Responsibilities

Demand & Sales Analysis
Analyze historical SKU-level sales data across channels.
Identify trends and growth opportunities by studying demand patterns.
Assess secondary sales data for sell-through performance.
Highlight gaps between primary and secondary sales to stakeholders.
Short-Term Demand Forecasting
Prepare 3-month rolling demand forecasts at the category level.
Break down forecasts into SKU-level projections based on sales mix.
Include business inputs (promotions, launches) in demand plans.
S&OP – Demand Review Ownership
Lead the Demand Review in the S&OP cycle.
Present updated forecasts by category, SKU, region, and channel.
Analyze forecast vs. actual performance and explain variances.
Collaborate with teams to align on forecast revisions.

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical skills at category and SKU levels.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
Knowledge of multi-channel demand planning.
Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
Exposure to S&OP processes is a plus.
Must have managed at least 500+ SKUs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
