About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Tata Consultancy Services. Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication. Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields. Candidates should have 5 to 15 years of professional experience in data analysis or related roles. Certifications such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Business Intelligence Analyst (CBIA) are preferred. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with database technologies like Oracle, SQL Server, or Teradata are essential. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js is required. Additionally, knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, including regression, forecasting, and machine learning, will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various database systems.
- Apply statistical modeling and machine learning techniques to forecast outcomes and identify key drivers impacting business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous validation and cleaning processes.
