About Us:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and establishing long-term relationships with customers in the aviation industry. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, develop sales strategies, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

• Identify and target potential customers within the aviation industry, including airports, airlines, maintenance organizations, and consulting firms.

• Research and understand the airfield ground lighting market, competitors, and industry trends to identify business opportunities.

• Generate leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals.

• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.

2. Sales and Relationship Management:

• Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our airfield ground lighting products.

• Develop tailored sales proposals and quotations based on customer needs and requirements.

• Negotiate contracts and terms of sale to secure orders and close deals.

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in customer organizations.

• Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries and concerns, and maintain regular communication to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

3. Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Track and report on sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and closed deals using CRM software or other designated systems.

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings.

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional materials.

4. Product Knowledge and Training:

• Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about technological advancements in airfield ground lighting products.

• Participate in product development discussions and provide feedback based on customer interactions and market insights.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in the aviation industry or related field.

• Strong understanding of airfield ground lighting products or similar technical products.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.


Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email communication, cloud storage (Google Drive), CRM systems, and data management.

• Proficiency in a English language is a plus for international market focus.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.
