Business Development Manager

About the Role

We are hiring dynamic and motivated Business Development professionals to drive sales across multiple offline retail categories. The role involves onboarding merchants, expanding market reach, and representing a fast-growing digital commerce and payments platform that enables businesses to manage, grow, and digitize their operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development across offline retail categories such as F&B, Malls, Multiplexes, Educational Institutes, Grocery, Hospitals, and more.
  
• Identify new business opportunities and continuously expand the merchant network.
  
• Contact potential merchants to pitch relevant digital and tech-based solutions.
  
• Conduct daily market mapping and outreach to onboard new merchants.
  
• Manage end-to-end business deals including requirement gathering, proposal development, negotiations, and contract finalization.
  
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  
• Maintain confidentiality and safeguard business information.
  
• Take ownership of new initiatives and contribute to overall business growth.
  
• Achieve assigned sales targets consistently.
  
• Play a key role in a high-growth start-up environment and drive process excellence.
  

Eligibility Criteria

• 4-9 years of proven sales experience in Retail / Hospitality / F&B Aggregators / Retail POS / Software Sales / ERP Systems.
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to simplify and communicate both technical and non-technical concepts.
  
• Good understanding of digital products and ability to identify innovative use cases for customers.
  
• Highly organized with strong prioritization and goal-setting skills.
  
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working under pressure.
  
• Strong market segmentation knowledge.
  
• High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
