Basil is a clean-label QSR & beverage brand crafting better-for-you food and drinks. We’re expanding partnerships across corporates, campuses, and communities, and we’re looking for interns who want to learn real sales, fast.

What You’ll Do

You won’t just “support sales,” you’ll run a mini sales desk at Basil, a clean-label F&B brand. In four weeks, you’ll learn how to find prospects, open conversations, run discovery, handle objections, negotiate, and close the exact toolkit that powers SDR/AE/BD roles at fast-growing companies.


By the end, you’ll leave with:

  • A personal call script + objection bank you’ve tested on real calls.
  • A mini portfolio of proposals/quotations you created.
  • Resume-ready metrics (dials, meetings booked, conversion, revenue influenced).
  • Practical experience using CRM + Sheets to manage a live pipeline.


What you’ll master (in 4 weeks)

  • Cold Calling Confidence: Structure a 60–90s opener, ask discovery questions, and book meetings.
  • Objection Handling: Turn “send details” and “budget nahi hai” into next steps.
  • Proposal Craft: Build clear, customized quotes with pricing logic and timelines.
  • Negotiation Basics: Anchor, trade smartly, and close with milestones.
  • CRM Hygiene: Log, tag, and forecast so nothing slips.
  • Time & Target Management: Hit daily activity goals under tight timelines.


Your first 72 hours

  • Onboarding to Basil’s products, pricing, ICPs, and use-cases.
  • Shadow 3–5 live calls + listen to call recordings.
  • Mock-call practice with feedback.
  • Make your call script + email templates and go live.


What you’ll do (and what you gain)

  • Lead Generation

  • Build lead lists through LinkedIn, referrals, and industry directories; make ~50 calls/day.
  • Gain:

    Prospecting frameworks, ICP definition, list-building speed
  • Client Outreach & Calling

  • Open conversations, pitch options, set callbacks, and move prospects to demo/quote.
  • Gain:

    Discovery questioning, rapport, executive presence.
  • Proposal & Quotation Management

  • Draft customized proposals; coordinate with design/pricing for approvals.
  • Gain:

    Offer structuring, commercial clarity, written persuasion.
  • Sales Conversion

  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close against agreed timelines.
  • Gain:

    Closing discipline, milestone-based selling.
  • CRM & Pipeline Ownership

  • Maintain accurate statuses, tags (hot/warm/cold), follow-ups, and forecasts.


  • Gain:

    Real pipeline management, forecasting hygiene.
  • Cross-Team Coordination

  • Work with design, logistics, and fulfillment to deliver on time.
  • Gain:

    Stakeholder management, operations awareness.
  • Success metrics (you’ll track these weekly)

  • Activity: Calls made, connections, emails sent
  • Outcomes: Meetings booked, proposals sent, lead→order conversion
  • Quality: CRM accuracy, on-time follow-ups, on-time deliveries, post-sale CSAT


Skills you’ll use & build

  • Strong verbal + written communication; persuasion on calls
  • MS Excel/Google Sheets basics for pricing and tracking
  • CRM usage (Zoho/HubSpot or equivalent)
  • Negotiation, problem-solving, and structured follow-ups


Who should apply

  • Prior client-facing experience is a plus, not a must. Coachability and hunger matter most.
