Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive with a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape. The BDE will be responsible for driving the growth of our digital service offerings by identifying new business opportunities, securing new client accounts, and cultivating long-term, profitable relationships. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, strategic thinking, and digital marketing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Prospecting & Lead Generation:
Research and identify new business opportunities, target markets, and potential client accounts through cold outreach, networking, industry events, and digital prospecting (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients for our full suite of digital marketing services (e.g., SEO, PPC, Content, Social Media).
Initiate contact and qualify leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and digital marketing goals.
Consultative Selling & Solution Proposal:
Conduct thorough needs analysis and leverage product/service knowledge to recommend tailored digital solutions that align with the prospect's objectives and budget.
Prepare, present, and pitch compelling, customized sales proposals and presentations to key decision-makers.
Act as a digital marketing consultant, clearly articulating the value proposition and ROI of our services.
Closing & Relationship Management:
Negotiate contract terms and pricing to successfully close new deals and meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Ensure a smooth transition of new clients to the Account Management or Project Management teams.
Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to identify opportunities for service expansion and retention.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Stay current with the latest digital marketing trends, competitor offerings, and market changes to maintain a competitive edge.
Maintain and update all sales activities, pipeline status, and client information accurately in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to develop targeted outreach strategies and sales collateral.
Work with the Strategy and Service Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and can be delivered to a high standard.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience & Education:
[X] years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management, preferably within a digital marketing agency or technology/SaaS environment.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for pipeline management and reporting.
