Job Title: STEM Trainer Job Summary The STEM Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training sessions, workshops, and activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The trainer will inspire learners to think critically, solve problems creatively, and apply STEM concepts through hands-on learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Training & Facilitation Conduct interactive STEM sessions, workshops, and project-based learning activities for students or trainees. Facilitate hands-on experiments, coding sessions, robotics projects, and engineering challenges. Adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles and age groups. Curriculum Development Design and develop STEM learning modules aligned with educational standards and organizational goals. Integrate emerging technologies (AI, IoT, robotics, coding, etc.) into the curriculum. Continuously update content based on the latest trends and innovations in STEM education. Program Management Plan, schedule, and manage training sessions and STEM events. Maintain training materials, tools, and laboratory equipment. Evaluate training effectiveness and track learner progress through assessments and feedback. Collaboration Work with teachers, coordinators, and other trainers to enhance the quality of STEM programs. Participate in community outreach, STEM fairs, and innovation competitions. Reporting & Documentation Prepare progress reports, training summaries, and documentation for internal records. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all hands-on activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, or Education. Teaching or training experience, preferably in STEM or related domains. Strong knowledge of coding (Scratch, Python, Arduino, etc.), robotics, or basic engineering principles. Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills. Ability to motivate and engage learners in inquiry-based learning. Preferred Skills Experience with 3D printing, drones, or maker lab tools. Familiarity with educational technology platforms (Tinkercad, Raspberry Pi, Lego Mindstorms, etc.). Certification or experience in STEM curriculum design or experiential learning. Work Environment Based at schools, training centers, or community hubs. May require travel to conduct workshops or STEM outreach programs.
