Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

, you will lead a diverse team managing Supply Chain and Master Data Management (MDM) operations across multiple global geographies including Europe, Canada, and the US. This role focuses on delivering operational excellence, building strong teams, driving digital initiatives, and supporting global supply chain objectives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, tech savvy and driven by continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for a cross-functional team, ensuring performance, accountability, and team development, while acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new and existing Supply Chain tasks across regions.
  • Lead direct reports and team leads, conducting regular performance evaluations, stakeholder interactions, and team engagement sessions.
  • Facilitate open communication, onboarding, mentoring, and employee development initiatives to build a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure business continuity by developing backups and maintaining delivery quality.
Supervise day-to-day operations, resolve escalations, and implement productivity metrics.

Individual Contributor

  • Own material planning, scheduling, interplant transfers, supplier management activities for US and Canada region with regional KPI’s like OTIF, Productivity & quality.
  • Deliver Supply Chain KPI dashboards including Days Inventory on Hand, OTIF, OTD, Forecast Performance & action on abnormalities.
  • Identify key data sources to develop dashboards & inbuilt applications in partnership with cross-functional teams by utilizing Advanced excel, power query, Power Platforms, RPA’s and Power BI tools.

Operational Excellence

  • Lead productivity and quality improvement initiatives across supply chain functions such as demand planning, material planning, inventory, and supplier management.
  • Execute projects from concept to delivery with cross-functional teams, targeting business KPIs like OTD (On-Time Delivery), forecast accuracy, and inventory performance.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational performance.
Standardize and optimize processes for demand planning, inventory, and material planning across geographies.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s in engineering with a postgraduate degree in Business or Operations Management.
  • 8–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management with hands-on expertise in demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and analytics.
  • Experience leading teams of at least 10 members (preferably in a GCC setup).
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis and BI tools (Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Platforms, Power BI)
  • Strong command over SAP ERP.
  • Proven capabilities in team management, performance evaluation, and leadership communication.

Good to Have

  • Data analytics certifications.
  • Exposure to global process alignment (US, Canada and Europe) and supply chain transformation initiatives.

Working Hours:

10.30 am to 7.30 pm IST – daylight saving11.30 am to 8.30 pm IST – non daylight savingThis role may be offered as a Manager - Supply Chain if the candidate is right fit.
