Job Summary:

Accounts Manager


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting:

  • Oversee and manage the complete accounting process in compliance with Ind AS/IFRS.
  • Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure timely closing of books and accurate maintenance of general ledgers.
  • Take complete ownership of the Balance Sheet, including its preparation, review, and analysis.

2. Balance Sheet & Financial Controls:

  • Review and analyze all Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliations.
  • Monitor assets and liabilities, including fixed assets, accruals, and provisions.
  • Ensure proper classification and substantiation of all Balance Sheet items.
  • Manage working capital components – inventory, receivables, payables, etc.

3. Audit & Statutory Compliance:

  • Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
  • Handle assessments, notices, and liaise with tax authorities and auditors.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis and cost control reviews.

5. Payables & Receivables:

  • Oversee AP/AR processes, payment cycles, and credit control.
  • Ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and efficient vendor management.

6. MIS & Management Reporting:

  • Generate periodic MIS reports and dashboards for top management.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making and business strategies.

7. Team Management & Process Improvement:

  • Lead and mentor a team of accountants and junior staff.
  • Implement process improvements, internal controls, and automation initiatives.


Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Ind AS / IFRS and Indian tax laws.
  • Proven expertise in

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


Preferred Industry:

  • 10+ years in software/technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience managing technical teams and leading enterprise-level projects.
