As a Collection Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of collections professionals, ensuring timely and efficient collection of outstanding accounts, and maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction. You will guide and mentor your team while collaborating with other departments to optimize strategies and achieve financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate a high-performing collections team to consistently meet or exceed performance targets.

Develop and implement effective collection strategies that maximize recovery while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Monitor team performance, provide coaching and feedback, and facilitate regular performance reviews.

Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.

Foster a collaborative environment between collections, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Handle escalated customer issues and disputes, ensuring a resolution that aligns with company policies and best practices.

What You Bring:

Proven experience in collections, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of collection practices, regulations, and financial principles.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

A results-driven mindset, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team to achieve goals.

Proficiency in collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.
