Purpose of the job
Responsibilities
The Account Director is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the Meta India account, overseeing the full lifecycle of permanent and semi-permanent fixture rollouts across key consumer electronics retailers such as Reliance Digital, Croma, Lotus, and others. This includes responsibility for development, production, installation, and maintenance, with two dedicated Account Managers reporting into this role:
- Account Manager – Development & Production
- Account Manager – Installation & Maintenance
This role is essential in strengthening relationships with Meta, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time and in line with operational and financial business targets.The Account Director will take full responsibility for the strategic direction and performance of the account, managing the team to ensure all work is completed in line with SLAs. This individual must be a strong leader who can balance daily support needs with long-term planning, combining vision and execution into effective delivery.We are seeking a candidate with in-depth experience working with strategic clients, capable of driving the Client Services team and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve client challenges. The ideal candidate will have a proven track recording client development, relationship nurturing, opportunity conversion, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Meta India account across all phases of fixture rollout: development, production, installation, and maintenance
- Manage and mentor two Account Managers, ensuring clear division of responsibilities and seamless handovers
- Act as the primary escalation point for Meta stakeholders and internal HH Global teams
- Ensure fixture designs are adapted to local retailer specifications and executed to Meta’s global standards
- Oversee supplier engagement, prototyping, production, installation, and post-launch maintenance
- Ensure all stakeholders—including suppliers, installers, and client teams—are trained and educated on processes and expectations
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across all phases
- Ensure compliance with internal HH Global reporting and external Meta reporting requirements, including alignment with Meta dashboards and cadence
- Develop and execute annual client development plans in collaboration with Meta’s global and regional teams
- Own financial performance of the account, including budgeting, forecasting, risk analysis, and mitigation
- Lead contract reviews, renewals, and ensure compliance with Meta’s procurement and legal standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at Meta and key retail partners
- Identify opportunities to expand HH Global’s service offering across other categories relevant to Meta’s India operations
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Extensive client service management experience, ideally with time spent on-site with strategic clients
- Proven leadership in managing large, cross-functional teams in fast-paced retail environments
- Strong track recording operational management, including KPI delivery, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience adapting global retail solutions to local market needs, especially in India
- Familiarity with Indian consumer electronics retail environments and supplier ecosystems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
- Demonstrated success in client and contract management, risk mitigation, and performance improvement
