Vice President of Sales

Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Leader to spearhead revenue growth, drive market expansion, and lead strategic account management across the industrial logistics sector.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in road freight/FTL, strong commercial acumen, and a proven ability to scale large enterprise business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead both hunting and strategic farming across the industrial sector to consistently exceed sales and retention targets.
2. Drive acquisition of enterprise accounts and unlock cross-selling opportunities.
3. Develop and execute strategic plans to strengthen presence across high-potential lanes, clusters, and customer segments pan-India.
4. Identify new growth markets through data-driven insights.
5. Own the end-to-end RFQ and bid lifecycle, including requirement scoping, solution design, pricing alignment, proposal development, negotiation, and closure.
6. Build and enhance CXO-level relationships with key accounts through structured engagement, QBRs, and performance reviews.
7. Maintain accurate CRM-based funnels and forecasting dashboards.
8. Build up team, Set KPIs, build performance dashboards, and drive an outcome-oriented culture.
9. Monitor industry trends, competitor moves, regulatory changes, and evolving customer requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–20 years of experience in road freight logistics sales, with at least 8+ years in senior leadership roles within FTL.
• Proven hunter–farmer track record and experience managing large industrial accounts (FMCG, Automotive, Pharma, Chemicals, etc.).
• Deep expertise in RFQ/bid management with a demonstrated ability to scale ₹100+ Cr pipelines.
• Strong analytical skills, CRM proficiency, exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Thorough understanding of FTL operations, regulatory landscape, and emerging logistics trends.
