Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary leader to serve as Vice President for our Biosint Nutraceuticals. The incumbent will be responsible for driving strategic growth, business development, and operational excellence in the areas of poultry, animal health, nutrition, and performance products. This role requires deep industry knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to build sustainable business strategies withing the global animal and poultry industry.  

The Vice President will be responsible for leading, developing and overseeing all operations related to poultry and animal husbandry. This role will focus on improving production efficiency, ensuring high standards of animal health and welfare, implementing modern technologies and diving business growth in alignment with organisational goals.  

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute the business strategy for the Poultry and Animal Nutraceuticals division, aligning with the organization’s overall vision and growth objectives. Collaborate with the senior leadership team to align business objectives with company goals.     

Business Development:

Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, partnerships and product innovations in poultry and animal nutrition and wellness. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners and stakeholders. 

Operational Excellence:

Oversee product development, supply chain, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance to ensure timely and effective product delivery. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of product quality and safety. 

Marekt Expansion:

Lead domestic and international expansion efforts by analysing industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments. 

Innovation & R&D Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D teams to drive innovation, develop new formulations, and ensure science-backed efficacy of nutraceutical products. 

Team Leadership:

Build, mentor and manage cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.  

Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with investors, distributors, veterinarians, feed manufacturers, and regulatory authorities to strengthen brand presence and market share. 

Financial Oversight:

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. 

Other Key responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for poultry and livestock farming operations.
• Ensure best practices in Poultry, animal health, nutrition, breeding and biosecurity. 
• Oversee production targets, quality control, and supply chain management. 
• Monitor feed formulation, vaccination programs, and disease prevention measures. 
• Lead research and adoption of innovative technologies in poultry and animal husbandry.  
• Build and manage relationships with farmers, suppliers, veterinarians, and regulatory bodies.  
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency while maintaining quality standards. 
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental and safety guidelines. 
• Lead, mentor, and develop teams for effective farm management. 
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior management for strategic decision-making. 

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Poultry Science, MBA or related fields.  
• Minimum (20-25 years) of experience in poultry and livestock sector, with at least (5+) years in a senior leadership role.  
• Strong knowledge of poultry production systems, breeding, nutrition, and disease management. 
• Proven experience in managing large-scale farm operations and driving business growth.  
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage stakeholders and deliver measurable results.
