Description
As a Vice President at EXL, your role will involve leading the Insurance Analytics & AI delivery and growth charter for key P&C insurance clients in the US from Gurgaon, India. You will be responsible for delivering advanced analytics, AI/ML solutions, and digital transformation initiatives in the P&C domain. - Lead delivery for a portfolio of US-based P&C insurance accounts, serving as the senior-most offshore leader. - Own strategic program execution across functions such as underwriting, pricing, claims, reserving, and fraud. - Ensure delivery excellence, proactive governance, and continuous value delivery. - Design and lead implementation of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions for key insurance use cases: pricing, loss prediction, claims automation, retention modeling, customer segmentation, etc. - Partner with client stakeholders and EXLs onshore leaders to drive innovation and solutioning. - Promote adoption of cloud-based analytics platforms and scalable data architectures. - Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics delivery team of data scientists, actuaries, engineers, and domain experts in Gurgaon. - Foster a strong performance culture focused on business impact, innovation, and talent development. - Identify opportunities to expand services, influence roadmaps, and co-create new solutions with clients. - Partner with business development and solution teams to support proposals, RFPs, and client presentations. - Drive digital transformation initiatives across legacy modernization, predictive decisioning, and workflow automation. Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of total experience, with at least 10 years in analytics, consulting, or delivery roles in the P&C insurance domain. - Deep understanding of P&C insurance (personal/commercial lines, claims, rating, reserving, underwriting). - Experience with tools such as Python, R, SQL, SAS, Tableau/Power BI, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors/masters in engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science. - MBA or Actuarial certifications (ACAS/FCAS) are a strong plus. Experience working directly with C-level executives at large US insurers is highly desirable.,
