Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer with expertise in mechanical engineering, nanotechnology, and proficiency in CAD and SolidWorks design. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal product designing of products made by the company.
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on engineer who can select, integrate, validate, and troubleshoot sensors across mechanical, thermal, HVAC, and embedded R&D systems. Your work will directly ensure accurate data, stable experiments, and validated performance for next-generation cooling, mechanical, and nano-enhanced thermal technologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sensor Selection & Integration
● Choose sensors for temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, current, and power.
● Evaluate sensor accuracy, response time, compatibility, and cost.
● Integrate sensors into refrigeration cycles, HVAC loops, mechanical rigs, and embedded prototypes.
● Perform calibration, mounting, shielding, and DAQ interfacing.
2. Hardware Assembly & System Wiring
● Build wiring harnesses, connectors, mounts, and sensor fixtures.
● Perform SMD/THT soldering and PCB-level modifications.
● Ensure grounding, shielding, and noise-free wiring.
● Create wiring diagrams, sensor layouts, and integration sheets.
3. Embedded & DAQ Interfacing
● Interface sensors with Arduino/ESP32/STM32/Raspberry Pi/DAQ systems.
● Program sampling, logging, and communication protocols (UART/SPI/I2C/ADC).
● Validate real-time data stability and communication reliability.
● Troubleshoot offsets, drift, signal noise, and data drops.
4. Experiment Data Collection & Interpretation
● Collect structured data from thermal, HVAC, mechanical, and nanofluid experiments.
● Analyze trends in temperature, pressure, flow, COP, power consumption, and performance.
● Use Python/MATLAB/Excel for plotting, analytics, and anomaly detection.
● Prepare crisp reports, insights, and R&D decision summaries.
5. System Testing, Validation & Improvements
● Conduct controlled experiments and validate sensor accuracy.
● Benchmark performance for refrigeration, HVAC, and thermal systems.
● Perform root-cause analysis for deviations and system inefficiencies.
● Optimize setups for signal stability, accuracy, and reproducibility.
6. Documentation & Technical Communication
● Maintain calibration logs, sensor databases, wiring diagrams, and experiment logs.
● Write SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and test documentation.
● Present findings clearly to R&D and product teams.
Qualifications & Skills Education
B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in:
● Mechanical, Mechatronics, ECE, EEE, Instrumentation, or similar.
Technical Skills
● Strong understanding of sensor physics (temperature, pressure, flow, vibration, current).
● Hands-on with embedded platforms (Arduino/ESP32/STM32/Raspberry Pi).
● Familiarity with HVAC basics, refrigeration cycle, COP, subcooling, superheat, and energy efficiency concepts.
● Basic understanding of nanofluids / nano-refrigerants is a plus.
● Experience with DAQ modules and tools (NI DAQ, ADC modules, LabVIEW/DAQExpress).
● Ability to read schematics, assemble hardware, and troubleshoot wiring.
● Knowledge of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics (preferred).
● Proficiency in Python/MATLAB/Excel for data analytics and visualization.

● Ability to work independently in fast-paced R&D settings.
● Clear communication for cross-functional engineering collaboration.
