Role Description

This is an internship Mechanical Design & Manufacturing Supervisor role at Greenbotz Platform Private Limited located in Coimbatore. The role involves overseeing day-to-day tasks related to maintenance, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), inspection, and automotive processes on-site.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor interns involved in CAD modeling, simulation, and design.
  • Review and validate 3D models for mechanical feasibility, tolerance, and DFM (Design for Manufacturing) compliance.
  • Coordinate and push forward the machining process with internal or external fabricators to avoid delays.
  • Act as a technical liaison between design, production, and quality teams.
  • Ensure models transition smoothly from digital design to physical prototype or final product.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design or manufacturing issues as they arise.
  • Maintain strict adherence to project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing.
  • Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of machining processes (CNC, milling, turning, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and drive results independently.
  • Prior experience supervising junior staff or interns is a plus.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping or product development cycles.
  • Exposure to materials selection and basic stress/thermal simulations.
