Conduct performance evaluations, troubleshooting, and optimisation of optical systems. Document designs, testing procedures, and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Stay up to date with the latest developments in optics, photonics, and optical design technologies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field . 3-4 years of experience in optical design, development, and testing. Proficiency in optical design software or equivalent. Strong understanding of geometrical optics, physical optics, and photon optics principles. Experience with optomechanical integration and system-level design considerations. Familiarity with optical fabrication and metrology techniques. Hands-on experience in laboratory testing and optical alignment procedures. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Experience with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming tools for optical simulations is a plus.
