Location: Chennai Employment Status: Salary Full-Time Function: Engineering Req ID: 27419 Job Responsibilities Expertise in electrical design of SPM machines, Heavy equipment and large Electromechanical systems using Auto Cad Electrical software Good understanding with General arrangement and creating Electrical schematics Knowledge of Control panel design, Safety circuit design, Servo motors & Drives selection. Knowledge of PLC IO mapping, Field Wiring and Knowledge about Electrical Troubleshooting. Knowledge of MCC, PCC, VFD panels Collaborating with cross-functional teams on project delivery Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagram). Expertise in using AutoCAD Electrical for electrical design and Knowledge in Solidworks electrical and other electrical design software is a plus. Knowledge of industrial automation systems and components (e.g., sensors, drives, motors). Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent. 5-10 years of experience in electrical design, with specific experience in areas like Wiring design for panels, machine drives or industrial automation. 5-10 years of experience in PLC programming Experience in Creating Electrical drawings, Schematic drawings and Electrical layout drawings Experience working with wiring harness in SPM machines, control systems and heavy machinery. Sound Knowledge of PLC Systems, Control panel Layouts, wiring routing. Experience with specific PLC brands (e.g. Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA software may be required.
