Job Summary

end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for all technology and engineering roles

Software Developers, Data Scientists/Engineers, Cloud & DevOps Engineers, Product & Platform roles, and Technical Project Managers

The ideal candidate must be hands-on with sourcing, technically conversant, capable of driving hiring discussions with Engineering Heads, and experienced in recruiting within fast-paced tech or start-up ecosystems.

Roles & Responsibilities

🔹 Full-Cycle Technical Recruitment

  • Own the complete recruitment process for

    software, data, cloud, and product roles

    — sourcing → screening → technical evaluation coordination → offer negotiation → closure.
  • Work closely with

    CTO, Engineering Managers, Product Heads

    , and business leaders to understand technical requirements and define role expectations.

🔹 Technical Sourcing & Pipeline Building

  • Source talent through advanced methods:
  • LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, StackOverflow, Naukri, Indeed
  • Boolean search, X-ray search, social sourcing, communities, and forums
  • Build and maintain a

    strong pipeline

    for recurring roles such as Full Stack, Backend, DevOps, Data Science, Cloud, QA Automation, Mobile, GIS Engineers, and AgriTech specialists.

🔹 Technical Screening & Evaluation Coordination

  • Conduct initial

    technical competency assessment

    based on role-specific skills (Java, Python, React, DevOps, Cloud, Geospatial tools, ML stack, etc.).
  • Coordinate interviews with technical panels, ensure timely feedback loops, and drive high interview-to-offer conversion rates.

🔹 Hiring Strategy & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, product, and platform leaders to forecast talent needs.
  • Create recruitment plans for

    critical, niche, or high-priority roles

    (e.g., Platform Head, Full Stack Developer, Data Science roles).
  • Provide insights on tech hiring trends, market intelligence, and competitor benchmarking.

🔹 Process Management & Talent Branding

  • Improve hiring processes to reduce

    time-to-fill

    for critical engineering positions.
  • Enhance employer branding through:
  • Technical job posts
  • Social media campaigns
  • Engineering-focused events, webinars, or campus engagements
  • Represent SwanSat in

    tech hiring events, hackathons, and college recruitment drives

    for technical talent.

🔹 Onboarding & Documentation

  • Work with HR Ops to ensure seamless onboarding for technical hires.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, ATS updates, and compliance with hiring guidelines.

🔹 Recruitment Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and present data insights such as:
  • Technical role time-to-fill
  • Source effectiveness
  • Offer acceptance ratios
  • Interview-to-selection metrics
  • Drive continuous optimization based on hiring analytics.

Candidate Profile & Technical Skill Requirements

Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in technical recruitment

    (startup, tech, IT services, product companies preferred).
  • Must have hired for at least

    5–7 of the following roles:

  • Full Stack / Backend Engineers
  • Data Scientists / Data Engineers
  • Cloud / DevOps Engineers
  • QA Automation
  • Mobile Developers
  • Technical Product Owners / Scrum Masters
  • GIS/Remote Sensing/Geospatial Engineers (preferred but not mandatory)

Core Skills

  • Strong understanding of

    tech stacks

    — Python, Java, JS frameworks, DevOps tools, cloud stack (AWS/GCP/Azure), data stack, etc.
  • Excellent in

    sourcing, screening, technical assessments

    , and coordinating with engineering teams.
  • Ability to handle

    multiple critical roles

    in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in

    LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, ATS systems, GitHub sourcing

    .
  • Strong communication skills (English & Hindi; Marathi preferred).
