Overview
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a strategic and hands-on role in driving the success of our recruitment operations in Chennai and across India. This position requires an experienced TA professional who can balance delivery excellence with strategic partnership - advising business leaders, mentoring team members, and ensuring that our hiring practices strengthen our talent brand and business outcomes.You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for a diverse range of roles (entry through mid-senior levels), leading campus recruitment strategy and execution, and serving as the second-in-command to the Talent Acquisition Manager - helping to guide the team, drive process improvement, and ensure hiring goals are achieved across the function.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor and recruitment partner to hiring managers and business leaders, ensuring alignment between hiring needs and strategic workforce plans.
- Proactively manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple business units - from workforce planning, sourcing strategy, and candidate evaluation to offer management and onboarding coordination.
- Deliver consistent recruitment excellence with a focus on speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Proactively support the TA Manager in setting recruitment priorities, forecasting, and managing workload allocation across the Chennai team.
- Represent and foster collaborative relationships on behalf the TA team in cross-functional discussions with HRBPs, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless talent operations.
 
Campus Recruitment Strategy & Execution
- Fully identify, plan, and execute all aspects of the end-to-end campus hiring strategy for Chennai - from university partnerships and branding to selection, offer management, and onboarding.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions, student bodies, and placement cells.
- Measure and report on campus hiring effectiveness, ROI, and conversion rates to continuously improve results.
 
Leadership & Team Development
- Act as deputy to the Talent Acquisition Manager, providing leadership support and stepping in during their absence to oversee team operations.
- Mentor and guide other recruiters in Chennai, helping them build sourcing, stakeholder management, and process execution capability.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives - identifying and implementing creative, data-driven interventions to address recruitment challenges.
 
Process Excellence & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with labour regulations, data protection, and organizational hiring policies. Identify gaps, suggest and execute improvements upon approval
- Maintain and optimize candidate databases and recruitment tracking systems.
- Deliver regular reports and insights on recruitment funnel metrics, time-to-fill, quality of hire, and campus hiring outcomes in time or upon request
 
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a senior or partner-level capacity. Preference to candidates with experience in multinational/international organizations. 
- Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading campus hiring initiatives from strategy to execution.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and applicant tracking systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret recruitment data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Tamil language and English language proficiency is mandatory to ensure effective engagement with local stakeholders and leadership outside of Chennai.

- Extensive knowledge of talent market trends in India, particularly Chennai.
- Passion for mentoring and developing recruiters.
- Strong work ethic and business acumen - motivated by driving measurable business impact through skilled and targeted hiring.
