About the role

Join FACT Software as our first dedicated senior recruiter—a unique opportunity to make a foundational impact as we scale our team to offer our AI-powered ERP solutions across South Asia and Southeast Asia. Your expertise will be crucial in helping us attract, engage, and hire the talented professionals who will shape the next chapter of our story.

In this high-impact role, you’ll be empowered to transform how we approach talent acquisition—from refining our recruiting processes to building a best-in-class candidate experience that reflects our values and ambitions. You’ll be hands-on in driving end-to-end hiring for roles critical to our growth, working closely with cross-functional leaders and making a real contribution from day one.

This role offers scope for career development. While the immediate focus is hands-on recruiting to meet ambitious growth targets, you’ll have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and become a strategic partner to the senior leadership team as we expand. Your contributions will be instrumental in designing our long-term talent acquisition strategy and team.

What you’ll do

• Operate autonomously to manage the full recruiting lifecycle—from sourcing to onboarding within agreed-upon timelines. 
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, headcount and develop hiring strategy based on best practices and proactive identify and anticipate future hiring needs.
• Deliver a great candidate experience, reflected in positive candidate feedback (e.g. NPS score).
• Communicate clearly and persuasively at all levels, confidently “managing up” by keeping leaders informed and advocating for what’s needed to excel. 
• Manage job postings, applicant tracking system, and recruitment reporting.
• Improve hiring processes and track key recruitment metrics like cost per hire, time to hire and retention rates.
• Manage relationships with headhunters and agencies to source roles where needed.
• Assist with onboarding processes for the India team.

Who we’re looking for

• 4-8 years of full-cycle in-house recruiting experience
• Fluent in English, with strong writing and speaking skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly independent and self-directed
• Thrive in fast-paced, unstructured environments; deliver results with minimal supervision and strong self-direction.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities. You care about processes and details when they matter, but don’t get stuck in the weeds. 
• Stay focused on key priorities and demonstrate resilience, consistently maintaining a positive attitude and composure in the face of setbacks
• Approach challenges with creativity and determination, able to find innovative solutions in competitive talent markets.
• Bonus: experience in tech, packaged software industry and hiring for technical roles

What we offer

• Compensation

  : Compensation will range from ₹5,00,000-6,50,000 per annum depending on candidate experience (negotiable for exceptional candidates). 

• Location

  : We require candidates to work onsite at our Indian headquarters in Kolkata. 

• Start date

  : We’d like a candidate to start as soon as possible after receiving an offer.
