Senior Product Owner – Lending Domain (FinTech)

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Product Owner to join our rapidly scaling FinTech product team in Pune. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about the lending domain, with expertise across the full lending lifecycle — from onboarding and underwriting to repayment and back-office automation. You will be responsible for defining product strategy, driving agile execution, and delivering scalable solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product features aligned with the strategic roadmap.
• Collaborate with underwriting, risk, operations, finance, and support teams.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value and feasibility.
• Act as the primary liaison for Scrum teams; participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality product increments in every sprint.
• Communicate with stakeholders, provide product updates, and manage expectations.
• Analyse business objectives and customer needs to drive data-driven decisions.
• Identify risks, propose solutions, and resolve delivery impediments.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience in the lending domain: loan origination, underwriting, disbursal, collections, and servicing.
• Hands-on expertise with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban); SAFe preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills (user stories, wireframes, acceptance criteria).
• Experience with tools: Jira, Confluence, Figma.

Technical Skills

• APIs & Integration: Open API, Swagger, Postman
• File Formats: JSON, XML
• Testing Tools: Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI
• Tracking Tools: Jira, Redmine

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Prior experience in FinTech or high-growth product companies.
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently with accountability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹3,200,000.00 per year
