We are currently recruiting a Founding Investment Partner to lead the investment strategy in the healthcare sector for one of our clients. About the Role We are seeking an experienced investment professional to join us and build the founding team and an enduring brand in the Indian healthcare sector. This person will play a crucial role in evaluating and executing investment opportunities. The partner will also drive growth and value creation for the portfolio companies and take up board responsibilities as and when needed. Key Responsibilities: Investment Evaluation and Deal Closure: Lead the evaluation, due diligence, IC presentation and execution of investments (including term sheet structuring and negotiation), ensuring a disciplined approach to valuation, risk management, and deal making to maximize returns. Portfolio Management: Actively manage and support portfolio companies, providing strategic guidance and operational support to drive growth while keeping a keen eye on corporate governance. Exit planning: Structuring timely and highly profitable exits for fund in potential liquidation events including follow-on rounds/secondaries, M&A and IPOs of all portfolio companies. Networking and Relationship Building: Cultivate and leverage deep relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to source investment opportunities and expand the fund's influence. Team Building and Management: Build and nurture a high-performing and collaborative investment team. The role involves taking a hands-on approach to mentor and groom junior professionals. Brand Building: Develop and promote the fund’s brand and thought leadership within the healthcare innovation space, representing the firm at key industry events and in the press.

You’ll work closely with our recruitment team to support hiring efforts across a variety of roles.
