Role Overview:

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and executing procurement activities, both domestically and internationally, to ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing. This role involves working closely with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies, reduce costs, and maintain efficient supply chains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy:

• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies for both domestic and international sourcing.
• Contribute to setting goals and KPIs for procurement activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Supplier Management:

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective sourcing.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to optimize pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues regarding defective or unsatisfactory goods and services.

• Process Improvement:

• Develop and implement innovative procurement processes to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify areas for process improvements in sourcing, purchasing, and logistics operations.

• Cost Management:

• Focus on cost reduction initiatives, especially in logistics, material flow, and procurement operations.
• Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and more effective sourcing.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments, such as Research and Development, to source new materials and innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

• Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records and financial reports for all procurement activities, including orders, logistics, and shipments for both imports and exports.
• Regularly review and report on the performance of procurement activities, ensuring alignment with KPIs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations.
• Ability to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Proficient in procurement software and financial reporting tools.
