Job Overview
The primary objective of the role is to lead Treasury Operations – monitoring fund balances, preparation of cash flow, fund Planning – India & for overseas subsidiaries, Transferring funds within India & to overseas subsidiaries, arranging Corporate guarantees & local bank guarantees, supporting statutory, internal, IFC, stock audit requirements, accounting opening, modifications in banking arrangements, tracking of loans i.e borrowings, lending & interest calculation, supporting monthly book closure activities, forward contract accounting, and ensuring various compliances ie sec 186 and sec 180.

Role reports to Associate General Manager–FinanceLeading the team of 3 members.
Qualification & Experience
CA /CFA with 6-8 years of experience in treasury operations in banks, large MNC; orCMA with 8-10 years of experience in treasury operations in banks, large MNC

Key Role & Responsibilities
- Review & Guiding team in Daily Activities
- Daily monitoring of funds : Review of cash position in various banks. Ensuring optimum utilisation of funds by liasoning with respective stakeholder for the requirement and allocating the funds based on the availability.
- Supporting team in preparation of Bank Letter for Transfer of funds / Uploading the Document in SAP thru Net Banking platform, liasoning with authorised signatories for authorisation of transactions, ensuring transactions are done on real time basis & communicating to the respective stakeholder. Ensuring all transactions are on time i.e Loans- Borrowings / Lending / Interest Expense/ Interest Income/ Inter Bank Transfers.
- Keeping close control on bank guarantees & tracking the same –Liasoning with internal stakeholders & banks for the bank guarantee. Supporting team in preparation of letter & submission to banks, placing Fixed Deposit against bank guarantees wherever required & communicating to the respective stakeholder.
- Reviewing and analysing term loan documents before finalisation.
- Review of Closure of Books
- Keeping close control and ensuring monthly book closure as per defined timelines.
- Tracking of Loans relating to Borrowings & Lending, calculation of interest for borrowing & lending, calculation of Effective Interest Rate (EIR), calculating the reinstating of foreign currency loans, plotting all accounting entries related to Loans ie Borrowings ,lending, interest expense ,interest income, forex, provision and liasoning with respective department for accounting. Ensuring the accounting is done correctly
- Preparing monthly Treasury Dashboard for CFO’s review.
- Forex : Calculation of Forward Contracts impact in books & preparation of MIS statement
- Overview of Fixed Deposit tracker and the interest calculation for reconciliation.
- Ensuring Monthly Stock statement submission to Banks as per timelines.
- Statutory Audit – Quarterly – Review of and supporting team in preparing various schedules and variations relating to Borrowings / Lending / Investments / Cash & Bank / Finance Costs for audit , documents to be made available for audit, answering queries of the auditor & closure of the same. Preparation of Treasury related various disclosures during year end audit of standalone and Consolidated books.

Quarterly statement to banks:
to ensure the quarterly statement is sent to all banks- related to compliance
SOPs –
Ensuring and keeping all treasury relating SOPs documents in place and updated.
- Sec 186 and Sec 180 – Preparation of Sec 186 and Sec 180 – compliance.
- Annual Stock Audit – EnsuringStock audit completion in co-ordination with different teams – documentation & liasoning with respective sites.
- Overseas Funding & corporate /Performance Guarantees
- Preparation of documents for overseas funding ,corporate /performance guarantees – liasoning with statutory auditors & bankers for the same. Ensuring WHT payment on time in co-ordination with tax team.
- Liasoning with inter department colleagues for overseas transfer.
- Tracking the overseas funding & guarantees.
- Yearly APR filing for subsidiaries of the company – compliance
- Timely Interest payment from overseas subsidiaries to Piramal Pharma Limited India – Compliance
- Ensuring payment (interest and loan) to external lenders for HoldCo’s.
- Keep track of funds sent to overseas by way of loan/ any other instrument and its ultimate end use.
- Providing MIS reports to management as and when required.
- Budget
- Preparing yearly debt and interest cost budget, in co-ordination with Group Treasury, for standalone and Consolidated entity.
- Keeping track for variance in actual and budgeted interest cost for standalone and Consol.
- Analyzing quarterly cash flow statement of consolidated business wise entities for funding requirements and taking approval from CFO for feasible funding options.
- Leading & Guiding for account Opening & modification of authorized signatories' activity
- Guiding team for new accounts to be opened with banks – preparation of documents & submission relating to the same. Liasoning with inter department colleagues / bankers for the same. Modification i.e addition & deletion of authorized signatories in the bank account – preparation of documents & submission relating to the same.
- Ensuring Net Banking Facility for new bank accounts – modification in case of earlier bank accounts.
- Ensuring the Fax & Email indemnity is updated for all bank accounts.
- Ensuring KYC compliance on annual basis / as and when the bank requests.
