Role Summary
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Finance Manager to lead our client-dedicated finance team in Gurugram. This role combines strategic financial analysis with team leadership, encompassing comprehensive P&L and balance sheet analysis, budget development and forecasting, and revenue trend identification. The successful candidate will create sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses, prepare executive reports for JLL leadership, and manage a high-performing finance team. Job Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop comprehensive annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operation leads, sourcing & commercial teams to achieve savings targets and cost reduction objectives
- Create sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic business planning and scope change management
- Monitor and analyze revenue trends, cost structures, and contribution margins to identify optimization opportunities
Monthly & Annual Reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of all financial results with detailed variance analysis
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial packages and performance metrics to account teams and client personnel with precision and timeliness
- Oversee comprehensive accounts payable & receivable processes, ensuring accurate calculation, invoicing, and revenue recognition in accordance with contractual requirements
Client Relationship & Compliance Management
- Serve as primary finance contact for client operations, ensuring seamless understanding and adherence to Master Services Agreement (MSA) terms and amendments
- Maintain rigorous compliance with GAAP standards, JLL Internal Audit requirements, and client review protocols
- Manage all client system interfaces and reconciliations, ensuring data accuracy and contractual alignment
Systems & Process Excellence
- Implement and maintain robust accounting systems, processes, and internal controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Identify and execute process improvement initiatives and re-engineering opportunities to enhance service delivery
- Deploy innovative planning and reporting tools to streamline operations and improve decision-making capabilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop planning and reporting team members, optimizing workload distribution and professional growth
- Provide technical guidance and expertise to facility teams, project managers, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Foster collaborative relationships with sourcing and operations teams to drive integrated business solutions
Strategic Corporate Finance
- Oversee JLL P&L management for assigned accounts, including budget monitoring, receivables & payable management, and financial performance tracking
- Execute scope change control processes, ensuring budget accuracy and alignment with approved modifications
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by JLL and client leadership teams
Job Prerequisites
Education & Certification
: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics, plus professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent)
Leadership Experience:
15+ years of progressive finance management experience, including international team leadership and client relationship management in complex service environments with exceptional attention to detail & accuracy.
Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations), with a strong knowledge of internal controls
Communication & Leadership:
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to present complex financial information to senior leadership, clients, and cross-functional teams
Client-Focused Collaboration:
Strong commitment to client service excellence with experience working in diverse, fast-paced professional environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with E1 and Corrigo systems or similar enterprise resource planning platforms, Background in real estate services, facilities management, or professional services industries, Track record of process improvement and system implementation initiatives.
