Tableau Consultant (Client-Facing Role)
Location: Offshore
Experience: C1/C2
Tableau Analyst / Consultant with strong business acumen and proven client-facing skills. This role goes beyond dashboarding — looking for someone who can partner with client business stakeholders, understand their needs, and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Engage directly with senior business users, translating requirements into actionable Tableau solutions.
  • Design, build, and optimize Tableau dashboards and visualizations for executive consumption.
  • Work with data engineering teams to ensure availability, accuracy, and reliability of data sources.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the client — proactively recommending visualization best practices and data storytelling approaches.
  • Build credibility and trust to grow the account by identifying new opportunities, mentoring junior analysts, and leading expansions of the analytics team.
  • Deep expertise in Tableau (Desktop + Server/Cloud).
  • Strong SQL and data skills.
  • Good communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Who can support the relationship growth, deliver value fast, and then scale impact by building a team around them.
  • Technical Asks: Grafana
    • Tableau Alignment
      • Audit existing Grafana metrics.
      • Align definitions with Tableau dashboards (i.e., update logic supporting Grafana)
      • Optional: support RBAC/controls to ensure secure role-based access in Grafana (possibly through collaboration with IIT)
    • Re-work in-room VS dashboards
      • Current dashboards are live views of Grafana data but are not actively used
      • Build new dashboards to include critical views, metrics, etc. for VS and leaders to better manage live queue and capacity
      • Ideally, this would include predictive analytics on capacity, queue, etc.
    • Merge QA and VS Reporting
      • Build joint productivity dashboards (QA + VS) to support merged function.
      • Ensure coverage across individual, team, country, and global levels.
    • MBR Automation
      • Develop an automated MBR dashboard to replace current manual SQL pulls.
      • Build supporting Tableau data models with refresh scheduling.
    • SLA Dashboard
      • Construct a comprehensive SLA dashboard to provide clear visibility into contractual commitments versus actual performance
      • Provide a unified view of key SLA metrics, including response time, uptime, and bespoke customer accuracy SLAs.
    • Enable granular drill-down and filtering by customer, product, and time period (quarterly down to hourly), including the ability to exclude non-contractual volumes.
    • Include multi-dimensional performance analysis (e.g., time to meet a target percentile vs. percentile met in a target time), with a historical lookback of at least 6-12 months.
    • Add diagnostic capabilities to help identify the root causes of SLA breaches.
    • Automate data pipelines where possible to eliminate manual work.
    • Capacity Planning automation
      • Current capacity forecast is run manually from a Python notebook and is somewhat heuristic-based
      • There is an opportunity to create a more granular, automated predictive model that gives insight into required staffing levels (taking into account language, geo, etc.)
    • Operational Dashboards
    • Re-build Tableau dashboards for
      • Individual / team productivity and accuracy metrics (including post-shift reporting)
    • Country-level and global rollups
    • Cross-functional efficiency (QA/VS combined)
