Role Summary The Marketing Events Lead will own and execute a portfolio of high-impact B2B marketing events with a clear and measurable focus: to generate sales-qualified leads and drive market engagement. This role will be accountable for the end-to-end event lifecycle —from identifying and evaluating event opportunities, planning and executing flagship events, to driving pre-event promotion and post-event lead conversion. This is a hands-on, strategic role that blends creative vision, operational excellence, and commercial rigor. The role also requires strong vendor and partner management, cross-functional collaboration, and a constant pulse on emerging event opportunities in our target markets. Education: Bachelor's in Marketing, Business or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Experience: 7+ years Skills Required Minimum 7 years in B2B marketing and event management; experience in tech/SaaS preferred. Strong project management. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot/Marketo), and analytics platforms. Proven track record of driving measurable outcomes from event-led marketing. Event Strategy & Execution Excellence: Ability to design and execute impactful events aligned with business and sales goals. Lead Generation Focus: Strong orientation toward lead quality, funnel impact, and measurable conversion outcomes. Operational Mastery: Proven expertise in managing vendors, timelines, budgets, and complex logistics. Stakeholder Management: Ability to align diverse internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Content) and external vendors. Market Intelligence: Constantly monitor and recommend relevant new event opportunities aligned to target markets. Soft Skills Required Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Proactive Self-motivated Logical bent of mind (Analytical) Team player & quick learner Flexible/adaptable Multi-Tasking Self-motivated individual who works well independently and enthusiastically Role and Responsibilities: Strategic Event Portfolio Management: Build and maintain a comprehensive calendar of key events across identified geographies, including industry conferences, trade shows, and hosted experiences. Proactively track and evaluate emerging events relevant to Accops’ technology and market domains. Prioritize events based on business impact, sales alignment, and lead generation potential. End-to-End Event Ownership: Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end event activities— pre-event outreach , on-ground engagement , and post-event follow-up —for every event in the portfolio. Define and implement measurable KPIs (e.g., SQLs generated, demo footfall, booth interactions) for each event and ensure activities are aligned to these goals. Collaborate with the Sales, Product, and Inside Sales teams to tailor messaging, demos, and experiences to target buyer personas. Lead Management & Conversion Enablement: Ensure every event has a structured lead capture and qualification mechanism in place. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing Automation teams to ensure leads are promptly scored, routed, and followed up for conversion to SQLs. Track lead conversion outcomes post-event to determine ROI and optimize future strategy. Vendor & Partner Coordination: Manage and negotiate with external vendors including event organizers, booth fabricators, travel and logistics providers, and marketing agencies. Ensure all deliverables—from booth design to on-site branding—are world-class and on brand. Performance Analysis & Reporting: Regularly track event outcomes, analyze success metrics, and present reports to senior leadership. Use data-driven insights to improve future planning, audience engagement, and lead conversion. Expected Outcomes: Delivery of world-class events with high audience engagement and brand recall. High-quality pipeline contribution from events. End-to-end management of the events portfolio aligned to business objectives. On-time, on-budget execution of events with positive attendee and internal stakeholder feedback. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across key event geographies, especially within India.
